Christmas Eve
Christmas is fast approaching. Shepherds are watching flocks. Geese are getting fat. Merry gentlemen are resting. The airwaves are filling with Christmas songs, and this year Ladbaby will not be No 1 for Christmas.
Pop In The Real World is no exception and last Sunday's show had its share of Christmas spirit. It's the first show I've not been able to listen to as we were away, so if you have any thoughts on it, please share.

Christmas Eve
This time last year, if you'd told me I'd have a radio programme I'd have hidden the sherry and Baileys and made you a strong coffee. It's been enormous fun, made even better by all the interest and pleasure shown.,the lovely comments, and the tons of support and encouragement received. If any of these have come from you, heartfelt thanks.
At the risk of reducing the show's audience to zero, I realise that 18:00 to 20:00 on Christmas Eve may not be the best time for listening to the show. I've given a link to the show at the top of this blog so that if there is a better time for you to listen - while you're wrapping presents, stuffing turkeys or panicking at having forgotten Auntie Hilda's present - you can do so.
It's a programme with nothing but Christmas songs - new and old pop, carols and some solid gold Christmas favourites.
The songs that will be featured are:
Todmorden Bells - Spaceship
Christmas Isn't Christmas 'Til You Get Here - Kylie Minogue
