In real life, Kenny Everett
In the wacky world of radio, also me (after finishing the research close to the wire!)
Hope you enjoyed the Halloween special. If you missed it, it's due to be repeated on 31/10 - Halloween itself - but the time is yet to be confirmed.
Next Sunday will have a few references to fireworks, but no dance floor bangers or 'Rocket' by Mud. The following Sunday is Remembrance Sunday. I'm planning to include a few songs that are about remembering and memories, broadening the scope out from the memory of those that have fallen in war to remember anyone who's been lost.
I'm not planning a two minute silence. If I did, the programme would automatically add in brash adverts and jingles. But I hope that some of the songs will help anyone who wants to lose themselves in their thoughts to do so.
If you have any songs or pieces that would fit the mood, let me know.
