Episode 21 - where did they all go?

In our new slimmed down version, the Pop In The Real World Alphabet reaches 'U'. It's one of those difficult letters. There are some, but not many, songs about umbrellas, unicorns and uniforms but not many. So 'U' stands simply for 'U' - the abbreviation, the capital letter and the prototype text speak.

We'll also be considering the delights of English pubs with Paul Heaton, enjoying another short story in song from the Delines and sampling a debut that arrived 41 years after the band split up.
