We're playing songs from one extreme to the other on this show. Counter intuitively we're taking a look at silence in songs. It can be very powerful. We're also covering Northern Soul, or as some might call it 'the sound of your best party ever'. Why is it they never played Tamla Motown in Northern Soul clubs. Tune in to find out.
In between those two extremes we have a few jazz not jazz songs, a couple of catchy punk songs and a brightly coloured mix of pop from around the world and across the spectrum.
If you fancy some old fashioned bopping at home, the last seven tracks are party central - perfect for accompanying the ironing!
The Bay City Rollers, A notice, Arizona, Apollo 8.
